I have a very wide range of interests that don’t necessarily go together; I’m a “Jack of all Trades”. A nifty infographic here puts the interesting things all in one place.
I have been working in the Computer/Electronics/Robotics industry(s) for longer than I care to admit, and I try to leverage my experience to help customers resolve problems.
I have been an entrepreneur for as long as I can remember. I started my first business when I was 13, and have started or helped to start at least 6 more since. In 1996 I created Aasland Technologies, which provided consulting as well as hardware and software development services. In 2008, I put Aasland on hold to help grow a startup email platform that would eventually be extremely successful and also consume 14 years of my life (and I wouldn’t trade a day of it).
As of January 2023, Aasland Technologies is again my primary focus. This blog is the latest avenue for me to write about technology as I have done for over 26 years.

Aside from the Aasland Blog, I also write less technical pieces on TheBleedingEdge. If you enjoy my writing, please consider supporting the work by buying me a coffee.
